BEng, MBBS, FRACGP, Adv Cert Skin Cancer Medicine, Cert Dermoscopy
Dr Adam Moody completed his medical degrees at The University of Sydney in 2013. He completed his internship and residency at Gosford and Wyong Hospitals in 2015 and his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2018, and became a GP Synergy Registrar Supervisor in 2019. Dr Moody obtained an Advanced Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine in 2019 and a Certificate of Dermoscopy in 2021.
Dr Moody has worked in mainstream general practice since 2016 and developed a strong interest in skin cancer detection and management several years ago after identifying the need for skin cancer services in the local community among at-risk demographics. He is particularly skilled in skin procedures such as biopsies and excisions and feels great satisfaction in early detection and management of potentially dangerous lesions. He finds dermoscopy interesting as it's a method of detecting skin cancers early in their disease pathway and a clear method of protecting life. He also enjoys procedural work.
Dr Moody mentors medical students and directly supervises a number of GP Registrars. He looks forward to seeing you for your skin cancer check.
