Dr Caitlyn Olds

Skin Cancer Doctor at North East Skin Cancer Centre

MBBS, RACGP Registrar, Prof Cert Dermoscopy, Prof Cert Skin Cancer Medicine

Dr Caitlyn Olds completed her medical education in 2018. During her year-long rural placement in Whyalla, she was exposed to a great deal of skin cancer cases and has assessed and managed skin cancer concerns for much of her medical career. She is a GP Registrar with a special interest in skin cancer medicine, working towards her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Having completed postgraduate qualifications in skin cancer medicine and dermoscopy, Dr Olds is dedicated to the early detection and treatment of skin cancers to optimise patient outcomes and strives to educate patients in skin cancer prevention and self-monitoring. Dr Olds enjoys helping people feel more confident in their own skin but also ensuring they have access to necessary treatments for concerning skin lesions. She finds it a very rewarding area of medicine to treat conditions which have the potential to become life-threatening if not managed adequately and quickly.
