Dr Jill Christie completed her medical qualifications at the University of Leeds in the UK in 2006. She worked full-time as a general practitioner in the UK until she moved to Australia in 2014, where she has since worked in two busy practices in Victoria and developed a special interest in skin cancer after seeing the prevalence of the disease here. Dr Christie holds additional qualifications in skin cancer, dermoscopy and aesthetic medicine.
Dr Christie enjoys achieving good cosmetic results with both surgical and non-surgical skin cancer treatments, including for lesions that are not yet visible to the naked eye. She believes that through educating patients in their own skin cancer risk and self-monitoring, we can reduce morbidity and mortality.
