MBBS, Prof Cert Skin Cancer Medicine
Dr Michael Petrinchuk completed his medical degrees at Monash University in Victoria in 2013. He practised medicine in Melbourne for many years before relocating to rural Queensland and worked as a GP with a special interest in skin cancer medicine in Toowoomba and Kilcoy, where he diagnosed and treated skin cancer on a daily basis. Dr Petrinchuk dedicates his practise exclusively to skin cancer medicine and delivers treatments tailored to each patient based on the cancer diagnosed and the most effective and practical management, with the best cosmetic result possible.
Dr Petrinchuk’s passion for skin cancer prevention and education stems from finding an overwhelming burden of skin cancer disease during his time in general practice. Skin cancer is incredibly relevant to Queenslanders, with past exposures starting to increase the rates of cancer now seen. He hopes to be part of the growing shift towards improved screening and prevention, with the hope to avoid metastatic disease through early detection and curative management.
