Dr Scott Marschall completed a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and obtained his Fellowship with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. He gained a great deal of knowledge and experience in many aspects of medicine throughout his career as a general practitioner in Adelaide, Port Lincoln, Kangaroo Island and rural South Australia, as well as in hospitals in developing countries such as Nepal and Sri Lanka. He developed a special interest in skin cancer during this time - wanting to help cure patients' skin conditions - and completed postgraduate qualifications in skin cancer medicine, dermoscopy and skin cancer surgery.
With a keen interest in skin cancer medicine and surgery, Dr Marschall wants to help bring essential services like skin cancer diagnosis and treatment to South Australian communities. His interest lies in curing skin cancer in the earliest stage to minimise suffering, and he enjoys performing skin cancer surgery with good cosmetic results. He finds this highly rewarding and takes the time to get to know each of his patients to better manage their overall health and wellbeing.
