Dr Stephen Wassall has practised non-invasive facial rejuvenation procedures since 2002 and is the most experienced cosmetic injector on the Central Coast, having performed over 20,000 injectable procedures. He is particularly interested in enhancing his patients’ natural beauty and achieving subtle, natural-looking results for more youthful skin.
Although he currently dedicates his work full-time to aesthetic medicine, Dr Wassall has also practised in skin cancer medicine since 1997 and was the first doctor on the Central Coast to use a Molemax machine for photographing suspicious moles for future comparison. He is extensively involved in teaching other GPs, presenting lectures on skin cancer surgery and demonstrating advanced skin cancer surgery and aesthetic procedures to doctors.
Dr Wassall completed his medical degrees at The University of Sydney. He was an intern, resident and registrar at Gosford Hospital until 1993. He completed Specialist GP training in 1996 and worked in his own solo practice in Wamberal until 1999. He then joined Terrigal Medical Centre as a Practice Principal and subsequently worked at the Mediskin Clinic from 2003. He completed a master's degree in Skin Cancer Medicine with The University of Queensland in 2007. In 2011 Mediskin Clinic became Skin Integrity and Dr Wassall began working exclusively in the fields of skin cancer and cosmetic medicine.
Dr Wassall is a Member of the Skin Cancer College of Australia & New Zealand and the International Dermoscopy Society. He is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and holds a Certificate of Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine (High Distinction).
