Our pricing

We are dedicated to providing the best standard of patient care without compromise. Our highly qualified doctors will address your skin health needs promptly and efficiently, and our specially trained support staff will minimise waiting times and ensure your experience is as pleasant as possible.

Prof John Pyne & Assoc Skin Cancer Centre is a private billing facility and we appreciate full payment on the day of consultation. We offer several payment options, including cash, EFTPOS and credit card. For your convenience, we use Medicare online so your rebate will be refunded promptly. Please ask our staff for more information. With the exception of veterans who will continue to be fully bulk billed, patients will fall into one of two categories: concession and private.

Annual skin check and reviews
Non-pensioners: $80 [Medicare rebate available]
Pensioners: $60 [Medicare rebate available]

Excision fees
Total paid for an excision is $100 - $460** on the day of the appointment.

With a Medicare rebate*, it is $60 - $160 out of pocket for each excision, depending on the complexity of the procedure.
*Please note if two procedures are required on the same day, the Medicare rebate is halved for the second excision.
**Fees charged by Dr Mahyar Amjadi, our Specialist Plastic Surgeon, are as recommended by the AMA and will be discussed during the consultation.
