Dr Cielo Marquez-Doyle has completed several postgraduate certificates in skin cancer medicine, surgery and general dermatology. Her special interest in skin cancer began in 2015 when she saw the need for dedicated skin cancer management while working in general practice in Mount Isa. She is particularly interested in helping patients with the prevention of skin cancers and in delivering surgical and non-surgical treatment options.Dr Marquez-Doyle completed her medical degree in 2005. Since moving to Australia in 2010, she has gained extensive experience in medical practice covering a range of clinical settings from primary care, Aboriginal health, occupational health, through to tertiary hospitals. She worked in Emergency Medicine in hospitals in Queensland and Victoria until 2013 then moved to general practice in 2014 and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2019.
