Dr Gerard Collins grew up on the Sunshine Coast and earned his Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Distinction) from Sunshine Coast University (2013) and Doctor of Medicine (Distinction) from Griffith University (2018). He completed his residency at Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and went on to attain his Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dedicated exclusively to skin cancer medicine, he has achieved advanced certifications.
Dr Collins is particularly interested in the early diagnosis of skin cancer via dermoscopy along with timely management of skin malignancies. He is passionate about skin cancer prevention and achieving the best cosmetic outcome possible for skin cancer treatments.
