Dr Paul Bullen graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from James Cook University in 2011 followed by postgraduate qualifications in skin cancer surgery, dermoscopy and advanced surgical anatomy. He holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Queensland, a Certificate of Advanced Surgical Anatomy from UQ, completed the Australian and New Zealand Surgical Skills Education and Training course (ASSET) through the Royal Australian College of Surgeons, and completed Professional Certificates in Dermoscopy and Skin Cancer Surgery in Adelaide. During his hospital surgical training, Dr Bullen gained a wide range of experience in skin cancer treatment working alongside surgeons in plastic surgery, head and neck surgery, general surgery, transplant surgery and dermatology.
Dr Bullen practises exclusively in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. He has a passion for the early diagnosis of skin cancer through detailed skin examinations using dermoscopy and the prompt management of skin cancer to ensure the best cosmetic outcomes. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia (SCCA).
