Dr Donal Kerrin's special interest in skin cancer has developed over more than three decades practising in Queensland, particularly in skin cancer imaging, dermoscopy (skin surface microscopy) and high-resolution diagnostic skin ultrasound. A Member of the Skin Cancer College Australasia and the International Dermoscopy Society, Dr Kerrin holds certificates in Advanced Clinical Dermoscopy and Advanced Skin Cancer Surgery and the Australian Diploma of Dermatology (Australian Institute of Dermatology).
Dr Kerrin focuses his practice on the diagnosis, treatment and management of skin cancer in primary care. He maintains continuing skin cancer education through involvement in a skin cancer research surgical audit and attendance at many international skin cancer conferences, workshops and online skin cancer medical education activities.
Dr Kerrin is a 1974 graduate of Trinity College in Dublin. Since 2012, Dr Kerrin has enjoyed the provision of comprehensive skin cancer care within a custom-built facility at Sunshine Coast Skin Cancer Centre.
