Dr Ben Tan has been a doctor for two decades, with a dedicated focus on skin cancer medicine and surgery for the past several years. He has obtained advanced qualifications in skin cancer from the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. He undertook further training with Prof Cliff Rosendahl and Dr Helena Rosengren - two doctors internationally renowned for their significant contributions to skin cancer medicine. Dr Tan’s areas of special interest include early-stage melanoma detection, and ear and facial surgery.
Dr Tan is also actively involved in audits and research studies on melanoma, wound healing, and post-surgical scarring. Over the years he has mentored doctors-in-training and has co-authored and published studies on post-surgical outcomes.
