Dr Chris Hughes holds a master's degree and a fellowship in Skin Cancer Medicine. Born in Burnie, he studied medicine at the University of Tasmania’s Rural Clinical School, graduating in 2008, and was a junior doctor in Melbourne, Sydney, Darwin and Hobart before returning to the coast in 2013 to train in general practice and skin cancer medicine.
Skin cancer is common, and Dr Hughes knows we can make a big difference by reducing morbidity, stress and cost for patients if skin cancer is diagnosed and treated early. He dedicates his practice to skin cancer care at Tasmanian Skin Clinic.
