Dr Mazharul Islam completed his medical training at Dhaka Medical College (University of Dhaka) in Bangladesh. He obtained his Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2018. Alongside his general practice work, Dr Islam has been a dedicated Skin Cancer Doctor practising skin cancer medicine and surgery since 2019. He holds a Professional Diploma of Skin Cancer Surgery and a Professional Diploma of Dermoscopy and regularly undertakes additional postgraduate training to keep his skills up to date.

Dr Islam is especially interested in teaching and research. He enjoys subspecialising in skin cancer from diagnosis to management and is particularly passionate about the surgical craft of treating skin lesions. He strives to provide the best patient care and looks forward to welcoming you.
