Ideal treatment for:
Ideal for use in most areas of the body and performed by experienced professionals, waxing is a safe and effective method for removing unwanted or excessive hair on the legs, bikini area, arms, back or chest.
You can have glossy, smooth and hair-free skin with one simple and quick waxing session - and enjoy amazing results for up to one month!
Waxing also removes a light layer of dead skin cells, giving you a bonus exfoliation with your treatment.
Waxing swiftly pulls hair from the roots through repetitive tugs. Once your skin is cleaned and treated with a pre-wax treatment to prevent irritation, a warm wax mixture is applied to the skin with a popsicle stick and pulled off with cloth or paper strips once the wax cools, taking the hairs with it. A serum is then applied to the skin to calm the treated area and prevent ingrown hairs.
Waxing is more precise than shaving and can cause less ‘razor bumps’, with results lasting 3-4 weeks since the entire hair root is removed during the treatment. Waxing is beneficial for larger areas such as the legs, chest and back, because a lot of hair can be removed in one short session. It is suitable for most skin types.
Waxing achieves smooth, hair-free and silky soft skin for you, even in problem areas like the underarms, chest, back and legs.
Unlike some other temporary hair removal methods, the results of waxing can last from 3 to 4 weeks, so you can enjoy smooth skin without another thought.
Waxing is a very quick and simple treatment with minimal side effects, performed by experienced professionals for the best results.
With waxing, there is always a chance of side effects, including pain, redness, irritation, rash, bumps, sun sensitivity, allergic reaction, infection, ingrown hairs, scarring and burns.
Your individual risk of side effects depends on skin sensitivity, as well as who performs the waxing and how experienced they are.
Your skin might be more sensitive to waxing if you’re taking antibiotics, hormone replacement therapy, hormonal birth control, Accutane, or using retinol-based creams.
The pain associated with waxing depends on your pain tolerance. It is generally not painful but, because the hair is removed at the root, waxing can sting.
Treatments can be spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart, because this is how long it takes for the hair to grow back.
Waxing can only be done when the hair is between 1/4- to 1/2-inch long. Before a waxing appointment, grow your hair out to at least 1/4-inch long.
The day before, make sure you don’t exfoliate, tan, or dry out your skin with swimming. The day of, avoid drinking caffeine or alcohol and wearing lotions or creams.
You can return to exfoliating 24 hours after shaving and waxing. Keep the treated area moisturised in order to prevent itching and irritation.
