Dr Akash Thakkar holds a Diploma in Dermatology in addition to other advanced postgraduate certifications in skin cancer and aesthetic medicine. He has a particular interest in dermoscopy as the mainstay of early skin cancer detection and is invested in patient education. He is passionate about prevention, early detection, and effective treatment of all skin cancers.
Dr Thakkar completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Western Sydney University in 2012 and has worked in medicine since 2015.
