Dr Andrew Barrett is a highly experienced GP with a special interest in skin cancer medicine, having run his own skin clinic for the past several years and obtained advanced certifications in the field. He completed his medical training in New Zealand and worked for some time in general surgery and plastic surgery in both New Zealand and Australia, and he has practised in the Brisbane and Lake Kawana areas for the past decade.
Dr Barrett understands the importance of skin cancer prevention and early detection. He is particularly adept at skin surgery procedures and enjoys the opportunity to manage his patients’ skin cancer concerns without the need for hospital involvement. He looks forward to welcoming both new and existing patients for comprehensive skin cancer care at Caloundra Skin Cancer Centre.
