Dr Mahyar Amjadi is a specialist plastic surgeon with a special interest in skin cancer. He undertook seven years of plastic surgery training in South Australia and New South Wales, including more than three years in burns units concentrating on skin grafts, and a training period with the Australian Melanoma Institute, focusing on skin checks and surgical management of skin cancers under the guidance of some of the best specialists in the world. He has practised as a Staff Specialist Plastic Surgeon treating skin lesions at Auburn Hospital and within his own private practice and has spent some time performing melanoma surgery at the Melanoma Unit in North Sydney. He completed medical school in Adelaide in 2006 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

Dr Amjadi is passionate about achieving the best medical and cosmetic outcomes for his patients. Being a plastic surgeon, Dr Amjadi's interest lies in achieving the best results in tricky areas such as the eyelids, cosmetically sensitive areas such as the face, and technically demanding procedures such as skin grafts. He strives to provide adequate surgical treatment of a skin cancer while providing the best possible aesthetic results with least visible scarring.
