Dr Michael Petrinchuk

Independent Doctor at Caloundra Skin Cancer Centre

MBBS, FRACGP, Prof Cert Skin Cancer Medicine

Dr Michael Petrinchuk has been diagnosing and treating skin cancer on a daily basis for many years and holds advanced qualifications in the field. He dedicates his practice exclusively to skin cancer medicine and delivers treatments tailored to each patient based on the cancer diagnosed and the most effective and practical management, striving for the best cosmetic result possible.

Dr Petrinchuk’s passion for skin cancer prevention and education stems from finding an overwhelming burden of skin cancer disease during his time in general practice. Skin cancer is incredibly relevant to Queenslanders, with past exposures starting to increase the rates of cancer now seen. He hopes to be part of the growing shift towards improved screening and prevention, with the hope to avoid metastatic disease through early detection and curative management.

Dr Petrinchuk completed his medical degrees at Monash University in Victoria in 2013. He practised medicine in Melbourne for many years before relocating to rural Queensland and worked as a GP with a special interest in skin cancer medicine in Toowoomba, Kilcoy, Emerald, and Pomona.
