Dr Zahid Awan completed his medical degrees in 1991 and has practised medicine for more than three decades. He began working as a GP in Australia in 2005 with a special focus on the diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of skin cancers. He holds a portfolio of advanced certifications in this field from the Skin Cancer College Australasia, HealthCert Education, and the University of South Wales, and is a Member of the International Dermoscopy Society and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dr Awan is experienced in the diagnosis and management of skin cancers using a variety of surgical and non-surgical approaches. He is passionate about identifying and treating malignancies in their early stages to reduce morbidity and save lives.
