With almost 20 years' experience in skin cancer medicine in Queensland, Dr Iqbal Hussain is a senior practitioner with advanced diagnostic and surgical skills. He has practised in medical centres, hospitals and skin cancer clinics in Rockhampton, Gladstone and Brisbane and has a special interest in skin cancer medicine and general dermatology.
He holds multiple diplomas in dermoscopy and dermatology as well as Fellowships of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and Membership of the International Dermoscopy Society.
Dr Hussain has published research papers on skin cancer and regularly attends and presents at skin cancer conferences and training, keeping up to date in the latest developments in all areas of diagnosis and treatment.
